GSLH series - high voltage vertical slipring motors
The slip-ring induction motor of the type GSLH is a special vertical motor intended for the direct drive of a pump. The motor is of the closed type with the degree of protection IP55, cooled by air. Surrounding air blown into the tubes placed in the stator frame by the external fan located on the rotor shaft is a primary coolant of the motor. The stator winding is made as two-layer lap winding and is brought out into the main terminal box. The rotor winding is two-layer wave winding and is brought out via current collection gear to the rotor terminal box. The GLSH series is especially designed for pumps requiring high starting torque or low starting currents.
