Pumping Station Poppekinderen
The brand new built pumping station Poppekinderen has two pumps, each with a capacity of 175 m3 per minute. Total has a pumping capacity of 18.000 m3 per hour at an average head height of three meters.
The pumping station operates completely automatically. The pumps are driven by electric motors with frequency controllers. These ensure that the pumps can run at different speeds. How much speed they run depends on the amount of water that needs to be carried off. The more supply, the higher he is touring on. When there is little water, it turns to the minimum. This way the station is very flexible and due to the direct drive solution the noise level is also very low.
