Pumping Station Schilthuis
Pumping station master U.G. Schilthuis is located at the 'Oostplein' in Rotterdam and marks in fact the endpoint of the Rotte. Pumping station Schilthuis has two diesel-engine driven pumps, each with a capacity to carry off 350.000 litre water every minute.
Next to these pumps the pumping station has a electric driven pump. This pump, driven by our motor has a capacity to scrap 500.000 litre water every minute. The total capacity of the pumping station is more than 1 million litre of water per minute.
